They were coming off a busy weekend, with Adam's graduation, and getting ready to start a new job. Throw in wedding planning, and house hunting, and work, and life, and I was a bit nervous that the rain that showed up the morning of our scheduled session would just be too much! But Adam and Clare are two of the most laid back, easy going people you'll ever meet!! On the phone, at 7:00 in the morning, Clare said "A little rain won't bother me!! I'll just bring my umbrella and my rain boots!" I loved it!! So with umbrella's in hand, we strolled around Tech campus, in the rain, and it was perfect ;) I love how these guys love each other! I can't wait for their wedding - from what Clare has told me, it's going to be the wedding of a lifetime!! And I believe her because her sister Kelsey's wedding last year was amazing!!! Enjoy ;)
Kara & Mike came to me as a referral from another local photographer and I couldn't be more happy that they chose me to photograph their wedding! Kara's sweet spirit and easy smile are perfectly matched with Mike's laid-back personality and fun-loving nature. A beautiful fall day, a happy couple so obviously in love, and a few surprises made for a really special session! The yellow leaves were too pretty not to use as a frame in this photo!Beautiful Kara!I so love this time of year! After a quick change of clothes and a walk across campus, we headed for Lane Stadium. Kara spent many a fall night here as part of the marching band. What better place to take photos than somewhere you remember so well! After dodging the football team, we spent most of the rest of our daylight time playing around in the stands!By the time we finished at the stadium, it was getting dark, but we wanted a few photos with the feel of downtown. I really like how these turned out!My favorite! Thanks so much Kara & Mike! I had great fun spending the evening with you! Can't wait for your wedding!
Jenny & JD are perfect for each other! JD makes Jenny laugh like no other can, and Jenny loves JD fiercely! They were married a few weeks ago in my home church surrounded by bright, bold colors, loving family, and truly funny friends. I was blessed to be a part of their beautiful day!
I believe Jenny came up with this color scheme when she was about 14 years old! It was perfect!
A sweet letter from a sweet friend!
Favorite one of the entire day!!! A perfect end to a perfect day!
Thank you so much Jenny & JD for trusting me with your memories! I am honored.
While the weather the past few days has been cold and rainy, the day Adrienne and Scott were married was more perfect than I could have imagined! The sky was the same blue as the bridesmaid dresses, the tree blossoms a soft pink and the daisies splashed their bright yellow color everywhere. Adrienne left no detail undone and all her hard work meant the day flowed flawlessly! I met the girls at their hotel room while they prepared before heading over to the War Memorial Chapel on the VT Campus.
Like I said, Adrienne attended to every detail. She did an amazing job!
A perfect moment!
Say "I do"......
The new Mr. & Mrs.!!
I love those first few moments after it's official! So much excitement!
Scott and Adrienne's wedding party were great! And up for anything! This was actually Scott's idea and I love it! You'll see more of them in the slideshow!
A few portraits with the beautiful couple!
If you went to Tech and get married on campus, it's a given that you will have your photo taken in front of Burress Hall! Scott chose to mix it up a little by dipping Adrienne!
A little Hokie orange in the background!
Adrienne is one of 6 children. 3 girls, 3 boys. All the girls have been married within the past year. All of them have worn their mother's veil. I think it's beautiful!
First dance.....so sweet!
RSP Entertainment kept the party going! Everyone had a great time!
Scott & Adrienne, thank you for allowing me to spend a day with your family and friends! You are truly blessed to be surrounded by amazing people! I know your new life together is off to a wonderful start and I pray many blessings for you!
p.s. Thanks Chelsa for assisting me!
