Logan & John | Engaged

Logan & John are getting married this weekend so I won't have to wait long to be a part of their day!!  Their engagement session included a very hot evening, lots of bug bites, a beautiful garden and the most perfect sunset ;)  Their dog Daisy joined them for some photos at their new home where they'll soon be living as husband and wife.  Can't wait to see them again on Saturday and capture how their day plays out!!  Congrats guys ;)

Elizabeth & Drew | Married

In the days leading up to their wedding day it rained, and rained, and rained, and rained.  That day the rain stopped. The fog took it's time lifting from the mountains and the sun didn't pop out until the reception, but the rain stopped for long enough for Elizabeth and Drew to be married!  No matter that it started again during the reception, or that the dance floor was a mud pit, or that everyone took turns leaving the tent under cover of umbrellas!!  No matter because they were married and now have a perfect story to tell!!  I love this couple, I love their families, I love that I've photographed both of Drew's siblings weddings.  I just love their love ;)

Grace | Senior 2018

My last senior session of the year was for the daughter of a dear friend and could not have been a more perfect way to finish off my sessions for 2017!!  Grace is super talented, brilliant, hard working and beautiful ;)  She'd love to write and produce films one day and her passion for the unique and vintage would probably be great inspiration.  Downtown Roanoke has just the vibe she was going for and Mill Mountain Coffee provided the perfect final touch.

Sydney | Senior 2018

If I took the time to look, I could probably pull up quite a few photos of this beautiful young lady when she was little ;)  Sydney and my daughter Sarah have been friends since preschool, so I feel like I've watched her grow just like my own kids!!  I love hearing about their hopes and dreams, and what they look to accomplish in life.
