When Amanda first contacted me and told me of her plans for a New Year’s Eve wedding, I pictured it almost exactly as it turned out!!! Months of planning, searching for the perfect dress, candy, flowers, hankies – all came together for a beautiful and intimate evening wedding! Amanda and Cameron were surrounded by the people they loved and who loved them, and they promised to loved each other forever. It was a great way to send out 2011 with a bang, and I enjoyed every minute of their wedding!!! Thanks guys, for being great!

Michael & Hannah | Engaged – Roanoke VA Engagement Photographer

Just after Christmas, I was able to meet Michael & Hannah, who were home from Seattle for the holidays! It was a bit chilly, and the break made VT campus a virtual ghost town!! But it was fun to wander around and not have to dodge cars and people everywhere!! I can’t wait for their wedding later this year! I love how our session went, I love how the photos turned out, I love how comfortable these two are with each other. I love what I do!! Thanks guys for wrapping up my year in a great way!

Kristen & Bill were surrounded by so many who cared for them and chipped in to help out with their big day! From helping with hair and makeup, to folding programs, to packing the dance floor at the end of the day, there was no lack of love! I love photographing at Sundara, but until now, I’ve only been there in the spring. In the fall, it is simply breathtaking!! I loved everything about Chelsea and Ronnie’s wedding day! From her gorgeous dress and boots, to the orchard overflowing with apples, to the adorable purse her sister used to carry their rings, to the wonderful band! It was a perfect day, and as Ronnie said “It’s just what she wanted”! Thank you Chelsea & Ronnie for including me in your day! It was very special and I had a blast!!

From the first moment Samantha contacted me, I knew we would be a good fit! She is the sweetest thing!! When I sent her a few questions to answer about their session, she responded with very long emails telling me all about she and Key and their families. I loved reading them! Key is the perfect balance to her bubbly personality. He is calm, and laid back, and totally in love with Samantha. Key travels quite a bit, but they were still willing to make the trip to Roanoke for their photos, and we were blessed with some beautiful weather! Enjoy!

Mary & Tim’s wedding was the perfect blend of family, fun, beauty, and laughter! The day was amazing, Mary was gorgeous, Tim was dashing, and their dance floor was hopping all night long!! I felt so blessed to be a part of this family for the day! I loved the looks Mary gave her parents as exchanged vows with Tim, and I have major respect for Tim’s Mom for raising those 4 boys!!! Mirrandia & James | Engaged – Roanoke VA Engagement Photographer

James just returned in August from his year-long deployment in Kuwait, and Mirrandia could not be more happy to have him home! Long distance relationships are just plain hard, but being military makes it a whole different ballgame. Now that he is home, wedding plans are starting and life together is falling back into place! These guys are so cute together and were so easy to photograph. Fall is their favorite time of year, and Mirrandia even painted her own pumpkin just for our session!! Love it! We wandered around Downtown Roanoke for a bit before heading out to Jeter Farms for the perfect end to a beautiful fall session! Guys, I had so much fun!! Thanks for being so perfect!

Holly & Adam | Engaged – Roanoke, Va Wedding Photographer

cHolly & Adam could not be more perfect for each other! He makes her laugh, she grounds him. Together, they are ready to take on this big world, and all it has to offer! Our session took us from the beautiful campus of Hollins University, where to fall colors were just starting to emerge, to Holly’s parents house, to the tennis court that was the sight of their first kiss. I cannot wait for their wedding in July of next year!! I had so much fun and I’m so excited to be a part of their day!! Thanks guys!

Maggie & Mario | Married – Taubman Museum Wedding Roanoke VA

After their engagement session, I knew Maggie & Mario’s wedding would be amazing – and it didn’t disappoint!! The Taubman Museum was the perfect spot for their modern ceremony complete with an escort by a bagpipe player! Yummy food by Schaal’s, and fantastic music by The Almost Brother’s Band kept the party moving all night!! So much fun! Even though they moved here only a year ago, Michelle & Stuart chose to have their beautiful wedding in Roanoke to celebrate the start of their lives together! Then on to the Corinthian Ballroom for a touching and intimate ceremony and reception.
