My sisters were able to visit us recently and since my niece just turned 1 year old, we decided it was time for some portraits! Miss Sydney certainly knew how to work it for the camera and had us in stitches!! I was laughing so hard I almost couldn’t hold my camera!! I love how clean and simple these are – modern backdrops with pops of color. All the focus can be on this gorgeous little girl! Not that I’m biased or anything!!! Enjoy!
I’ve known this family for quite a while! Jonathan and I grew up in church together and when he met and married Emily, she joined the church as well! Their family has grown by 2 adorable kids and I am so happy to share their cuteness. Enjoy!
I’ve worked with most of this family before, but this time, I had the chance to meet the whole clan! So much fun! Their beautiful home on Smith Mountain Lake was the perfect backdrop for some family time. Plenty of room to play croquet, fish, enjoy the grandkids and spend time together. I really enjoyed getting to know each one! Enjoy their beautiful smiles!
What a fun loving family!!! From riding bikes to playing with their dog to roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, these guys know how to have a good time! I really enjoyed spending a beautiful evening with them!
When your evening starts out with bubbles, you know you’re going to have a good time!
Jackson was a pro at blowing really big ones! Don’t you just love his freckles!
Abigail had the hardest time! I think we determined it was her new missing tooth!
I’ve been waiting to photograph these kids for almost 2 years now!!! I just love their dark eyelashes!
When Kathy and I chatted about where to do their pictures, one thing she mentioned was how much they enjoyed taking walks in their neighborhood. So, we took a walk!
When we crossed the street we found the most perfect light! I think this may be my favorite!
They went swimming earlier in the day. I think Abigail was worn out, but it made for a sweet moment with Mom!
Now you know why these kids are so gorgeous! Mom & Dad lookin’ pretty good!
A little storytime.
I do love this book
Jackson play guitar!
A quick wardrobe change and we headed to the park.
This just makes me smile!
And this makes me giggle!
Apparently there was a spontaneous dance party!
I had a great time with you guys! Thanks Kathy and John for letting me spend the evening with your beautiful family! I hope the ice cream was amazing:)
