Katie & Greg’s wedding was beautiful! Sunshine, hot pink shoes, navy suits with polka-dot bow-ties, a breakfast reception with mimosas, classical music played by a live trio, and lots of love, friends, and family! What more could a new couple ask for!! I was honored to be a part of this perfect day!
Her shoes are to die for!!! Katie told me she found them long before she found her dress and they sat in her closet calling out to her for months!!
Love me a bow-tie!
Katie’s mom tied many a bow on her daughter’s dresses – she knew how to do it perfectly!
Twig and Berry created beautiful arrangements for the church and reception! I loved Katie’s bouquet!
While they didn’t see each other before the wedding, Katie & Greg did exchange gifts.
Last few moments before walking down the aisle!
Greg couldn’t see Katie until she was rounded the corner at the end of the aisle. His face says it all!
Married!!
Such a fun bridal party! I loved her colors!
Apparently Greg had been warned!
Katie & Greg were treated very differently by their brothers & sisters!
Katie’s sorority sisters joined hands and sang her a lovely song………..
……Greg’s brothers tossed him in the air!!
A mad dash to catch the bouquet!
After the reception, we had the chance to wander around Hotel Roanoke for some beautiful couple portraits. Even the stormy weather didn’t stop them from smiling!
My favorite!
Katie & Greg, it was truly an honor!! I loved every minute I spent with you and your family & friends! You are blessed and I know your lives together will be amazing! Enjoy your slideshow!
Buckle your seat belts – this is going to be a long one!! But so very worth it! Kelsey & Micah and their families were a complete joy to spend the day with. Every detail was thought of, every moment special, every person so very happy for this beautiful couple. I could go on and on, but I feel I “speak” best with pictures, so enjoy!
Checking Facebook and emails!
Lynn, Kelsey’s mother, made the beautiful yellow dress that looked so classic on Kelsey!
I think Micah wanted more than just a little kiss!!
Kelsey’s reaction to seeing the lawn at Chateau Morrisette all prepared for the wedding!
I adore this couple!
Kelsey, her Mom, sister, Dad, brother, and any other persons that were willing to help, made all the floral arrangements for the day!! They ordered flowers in bulk and kept them in their basement with ice and low temperatures to keep them fresh!! They did an amazing job!
While we spent time taking photos, the guests were treated to wine tasting and tours!
As if good food, wine, tours, and dancing weren’t enough – Liz Becker of Becker Dance led all the guests in a Salsa Dance lesson!! So much fun!
I feel so blessed to have been a part of this day. Kelsey & Micah, I wish you all the best! You have some amazing role models to follow in the wonderful journey called marriage. I know they will support you, and guide you, and that your life together will be amazing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for choosing me to capture your memories. I am forever grateful!
A more perfect spring day could not have been found for the wedding of Kara & Mike! Kara spent the morning getting ready at her parents log home with her family and girlfriends making sure everything was perfect. A surprise limo transported everyone to the church where Mike was waiting and Kara donned her beautiful lace dress. The ceremony was sweet and touching and the look on Mike’s face as he said his vows to Kara spoke volumes. After family photos and a few with the bridal party, everyone made their way to the Plantation at Sunnybrooke for the reception. Kara & Mike, it was a honor to capture your wedding day! I wish you all the best in your married life and look forward to seeing you again soon!!
Aimee & Mark are having a baby! It’s been a really tough pregnancy for Aimee, but I know that once she holds that sweet baby Rose in her arms, it will all be in the past. I can’t wait to meet her!
It was raining and gloomy and Aimee was doing good to get out of the house on the day of our session (oh how I remember that all-day sickness!). So we made use of some empty office space next to me and I really, really love them! Aimee you are beautiful!!!
