When Amanda first contacted me and told me of her plans for a New Year’s Eve wedding, I pictured it almost exactly as it turned out!!! Months of planning, searching for the perfect dress, candy, flowers, hankies – all came together for a beautiful and intimate evening wedding! Amanda and Cameron were surrounded by the people they loved and who loved them, and they promised to loved each other forever. It was a great way to send out 2011 with a bang, and I enjoyed every minute of their wedding!!! Thanks guys, for being great!

Kristen & Bill were surrounded by so many who cared for them and chipped in to help out with their big day! From helping with hair and makeup, to folding programs, to packing the dance floor at the end of the day, there was no lack of love! I love photographing at Sundara, but until now, I’ve only been there in the spring. In the fall, it is simply breathtaking!! I loved everything about Chelsea and Ronnie’s wedding day! From her gorgeous dress and boots, to the orchard overflowing with apples, to the adorable purse her sister used to carry their rings, to the wonderful band! It was a perfect day, and as Ronnie said “It’s just what she wanted”! Thank you Chelsea & Ronnie for including me in your day! It was very special and I had a blast!!

Mary & Tim’s wedding was the perfect blend of family, fun, beauty, and laughter! The day was amazing, Mary was gorgeous, Tim was dashing, and their dance floor was hopping all night long!! I felt so blessed to be a part of this family for the day! I loved the looks Mary gave her parents as exchanged vows with Tim, and I have major respect for Tim’s Mom for raising those 4 boys!!! Maggie & Mario | Married – Taubman Museum Wedding Roanoke VA

After their engagement session, I knew Maggie & Mario’s wedding would be amazing – and it didn’t disappoint!! The Taubman Museum was the perfect spot for their modern ceremony complete with an escort by a bagpipe player! Yummy food by Schaal’s, and fantastic music by The Almost Brother’s Band kept the party moving all night!! So much fun! Even though they moved here only a year ago, Michelle & Stuart chose to have their beautiful wedding in Roanoke to celebrate the start of their lives together! The day started at Les Chevoux where the staff was amazing with her hair and make-up and Michelle left looking gorgeous! Then on to the Corinthian Ballroom for a touching and intimate ceremony and reception. I know I always say this, but I am truly blessed to work with such amazing clients, and Michelle & Stuart are no exception! I loved every minute of their day! Rachel & Tony could not be more perfect for each other. Their love is beautiful, and tender, they touch all who witness it in action. Selah Springs was a breathtaking backdrop for their wedding and the blue and white color scheme was perfect in the rustic setting! Hurricane Irene threatened with gray skies and winds, but after a brief shower, the sky cleared and the ceremony was beautiful. Rachel & Tony chose a “First Look”, and as always, this allowed for plenty of time for their photos! I was so honored to be a part of this wedding! I’ve known Emily since she was a little girl! Her older brother and my younger brother were the best of friends for quite a while. So when I received an email from Emily inquiring about wedding photography, I knew I would love to spend such an important day with this special family! Being all about doing things different, Emily & John had quite a few unique touches for their wedding. Emily wore her mother’s wedding dress, they had an adorable little “bubble boy”, their delicious cake was the famous BlueCollarJoe’s Doughnuts, and (my favorite) they totally rocked the “First Look” giving us loads of time for portraits!! They were wonderful and loving and hysterically funny!!! Enjoy!

From the very first time I chatted with John on the phone, I knew that this couple would be my kind of couple. I think our first meeting lasted quite a long time, but it felt like a chat with old friends. They met quite by accident, on a night neither of them expected, and yet, their matching Halloween costumes (police officers, if you must know!) were certainly a sign that they had much more than good taste in common! With full hearts, a few tears, and much love, Becky & John said “I do”. Family and friends watched and cried and loved. They are blessed!!
