So, it’s my birthday today and i am typing this blog entry while sitting in my new .. wait for it …

STUDIO!!!!

I really can’t believe I’m here! Since the official start of my business, almost 4 years ago, I have hoped and dreamed that one day I would move out of the tiny cramped corner in my basement into something I could call my own. Time has crawled and time has flown and now I find myself in a brand new place and ready to grow even more! This move is important on so many levels, personal and business. For my family, it means that when I am home, I’m really home. Not just there but off in the corner on the computer. It’s a way for me to separate business and life. The line between laundry and photos, phone calls and dinner, packages and clutter had become way too blurry! For business, this means that I now have a place to meet and chat. A place to walk you through your photos and help you choose the best ones. A place to show samples and get your creative juices flowing with ideas for decorating your home with beautiful photos! A place to meet with brides and grooms without the noise and chaos of the local coffee shop (but with the coffee of course!). I’m so very excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to see where it takes me! If you’ve been following my FaceBook page, you’ll know that I’ve been dropping hints for the past few days! So keep scrolling and see if you recognize any photos from the sneak peeks!

There’s still a lot to be done. Pictures need to be hung, a few pieces of furniture are on the way, and I searching for the perfect curtains. But for having just moved in on Tuesday, I’m thrilled with everything!!!

Christmas Cards and Christmas Minis!

OK, I know it’s been a while since I posted! Life around here has been a little crazy, but I’ve been busy working on some new things! Right now, I’m sooo excited to share with you……

I love every single one of these designs and I can’t wait to see them filled with beautiful images!

Watch the slideshow below to see all the designs! Grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, a pen and paper to jot down your favorites and enjoy!

If you are a past client (your session was within this past year), you may choose images from that session for your cards.

If you would like to schedule a session, please contact me ASAP as I am filling up fast and will not book any sessions after Nov. 22nd!

If you just want Christmas Card pictures and pictures for gifts, but would like to do a full session at a later date, then this year’s Christmas Mini Sessions are just for you!

Each Mini session will last 30 minutes, include a total of 50 custom Christmas Cards, 10-15 images to choose from, and an online gallery for 21 days. Additional cards and prints may be purchased. Downtown Salem is one of my favorite places to shoot and I’m excited to host my Mini sessions there! With lots of back alleyways, brick walls, neat buildings and Roanoke College campus all within walking distance, it’s the ideal place! Each session will start at the Farmer’s Market and we will go from there.

I am listing each time slot below and will mark them off as they are booked. All sessions are first come, first serve and limited to immediate family only. Sessions must be paid in full to reserve your spot. All card orders must be finalized by Nov. 30th.

I am so excited to introduce these new bags!!! I have been searching for a long time to find an product like this. Something that I felt was truly unique and different. Well, it has been found!!! These amazing new custom bags are beautiful! I just received my fabric samples and I am amazed. With the ability to choose from 4 different styles and any combination of fabric, your bag is completely different than anyone else, and showcase your favorite picture! Here are some examples.

Small handbag

There is one more bag available. It’s similar in style to the small handbag, but without the pockets on the side. When I get some images, I will post them.

You may schedule a new session or choose an image from a previous session.

The cut-off for Christmas ordering is Dec. 1st! What a great gift for Mom’s and Grandma’s!
