Fall is my favorite time of year! Same for Melissa. She picked the most perfect day for their session! They even brought pumpkins and costumes! We had a great time!
Something was very funny. It must have been me
Then they started in on the pumpkins!
Um, Hello, hot peoples!!! I’m lovin’ the stare Gary!
While posing for family photos, someone said that it looked like my Grandmother was trying to smell Marc’s flower! So that’s what she did!
As I am writing this, it occurs to me – Marc & Cherith are both the youngest of 4!!!
Just before heading out to the ceremony, my second-shooter Chelsa caught this – I love it!
Cherith was always torn between wanting an outdoor wedding for the scenery, and a church ceremony for that moment when the doors open and the groom sees his bride for the first time. Here’s her solution for both!
Laughter is always present with them!
Married at the same camp where they met when they were 14 years old, Marc and Cherith spent many a summer as campers and then counselors in this setting. How fitting to start their married life in this wonderful place!
Neat view!
Chelsa grabbed this shot through the window!
Cherith’s nephew – How cute is he!!
It was too cold and windy to light the unity candle outside, so they had a quick lighting ceremony inside.
Cake!
Rings!
Because the ceremony and reception took place on the campgrounds, Marc & Cherith had a send off, and then returned a while later for group photos. Bubbles are so fun!
First order of business when they returned was to sign the marriage certificate!
Then we had some fun!!!
It was seriously freezing!!! I almost couldn’t feel my fingers! These girls were troopers. When I asked them if they would be up for some fun photos even if it meant being cold, their response was “You only get married once, I say we go for it!” You all are true friends!!!
Marc & Cherith, you are so blessed to have found each other. Your commitment and love for each other is amazing.
“The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
