The Limroth Family!

Funny how small this big world is!  Kelly grew up with my good friend Jana. Pat and Jana’s kids are some of my favorite subjects!  Their sweet little feet are featured on my website!  Last year, I did Jana’s Christmas Cards and when Kelly received one in the mail, she loved it!  I was happy that Kelly called me for a session for her Christmas Cards!  These guys were so fun!  They live out on Smith Mountain Lake so I was very excited to have a different background to work with!  After a bout with poison ivy that caused us to reschedule, we finally made the session happen on a gorgeous afternoon!

Aren’t they a handsome family!  Kelly did a great job with the clothing colors!  They are so rich and warm!

They have a beautiful dock on the lake that we thought would make some beautiful images!  However the kids had a different idea and were taking some time to warm up to me!  So I tried a different angle and I liked what I saw!

Look how cute these kiddos are!

The lake made a great backdrop for these images!  It makes me want to move out there just to have this view every day!  I love relaxed portraits!

Thanks so much Limroth family, for letting me spend the afternoon with you!  I had a great time and I will see you soon!  ***Enjoy your slideshow!***, and thanks for letting the kids get their feet wet!

3 kids and a sheep!

Amy and I met a few months ago.  She and Stacey are good friends!  We had a little bit of a hard time working out our schedules but when we did, I was so excited with Amy’s idea!  She knew of a friend who ran a sheep farm and her church let her borrow costumes!  It turned out to be an amazing day and the pictures were so worth all the trouble!  It’s a little out of order, but here’s my favorite image of the day!  I think it’s Christmas Card worthy, don’t you!

We actually started out with family pictures!  What a handsome family!

These kids were pros!  Mom loves pictures so they have had lots of practice!

I had so much fun!  They really enjoyed each other and had a great time being silly together!  I love it when kids actually enjoy themselves!

These are some seriously gorgous kids!

Of course when Mom and Dad are this good looking, you expect beautiful kids!

This was the scenery as we left the farm!  It seemed like heaven on earth!

Jeff and Amy thank you so much for allowing me to spend time with your wonderful family!  I had a great time and I will see you soon! ***Enjoy your slideshow!***

Those Crazy Kids!

I had so much fun spending time with the Cox family last Sunday afternoon!  These kids are so full of life and imagination and laughter!  I love it!  They are never without a smile or a funny face!  They are beautiful as well!

Meet Anna……

….Avery…..

….and Charlie!

Dad raked a leaf pile for us and we told the girls to hold Charlie’s hand and run into the pile!  This had us laughing so hard!!!  Charlie could barely keep up but loved every minute!

I’m not sure which was more fun, jumping in the leaves or throwing them in the air!

Very quick moment of stillness!!!!

Apparently something was VERY funny!

What a handsome boy!

Thanks Sam and Erin for letting me capture your gorgeous children!  I had a really good time!  You are very blessed!  ***Enjoy your slideshow*** and I will see you soon!

McDaniel Family

I had the great pleasure of spending the evening with this wonderful family!  We spent our time romping around Grandma’s yard, which feels like the country in the middle of the city!  Even though it was chilly, the kids did great and we had a good time!

They are one handsome family!

Kelsey is just learning to walk steadly and had a little bit of a hard time with the slope of the yard!  She finally found some good footing!

Seth found a really big leaf for me!  He even held it for me like a gentleman!

When I asked him what he liked to do at Grandma’s house, he said “Swing!”.  So that’s what we did!

Kelsey getting a lift from Daddy!

This picture cracks me up!!!!!!

I’m thinking Christmas Card!!! (yes I do have a color version!  I just like b&w!!!)

Thanks Adam and Shari for allowing me to hang out with your beautiful family for a while!  I had a great time and hope to see you again soon!

Baby Cate is here!!!!

Catherine Adair was born Wed. morning a little before 8:00!!!  7lbs. 2oz and 19 inches long.  Cory had a long, hard labor but I know the reward was worth it.  This little girl is so beautiful!  I can’t wait to see her again!

I was told she is very alert, but she only had her eyes open for a short time when we were there!  I just want to kiss those little cheeks!

Many congratulations Curtis and Cory!  I am so happy for you!!!!!
