Shawn and Charissa’s Wedding!

I had the great pleasure of photographing Shawn & Charissa’s wedding on July 14th!  They and their wedding party were so much fun!!!  I met the girls early in the afternoon at Hotel Roanoke to take some pictures and wait for Shawn! 

Charissa had fun!  Can you tell!!!

After some “formals” inside the Hotel,  (I LOVE this one!)

we headed to Downtown for some fun stuff!  I happened upon this store, 310 Rosemont when I was on the market the weekend before.  A big thank you to Phillip for letting us take some poses in the store.  They even let us use the window!  Very cool!!!

 The ceremony was beautiful!  I loved Shawn’s face as he saw his bride coming down the aisle.

Charissa was amazing and suprised Shawn by singing a song she had written for him!

Durbin Days Carvinal

Every year our family makes the trip to a little town in West Virginia called Durbin.  My husband’s parents grew up here and his Granny still lives right in the middle of town.  This little town celebrates it’s history with a week long string of events that include parades, craft shows, music, a car show and a carnival.  It’s great for the kids!  They set up in the field across the tracks from Granny’s house which is convient when a bathroom break is needed!  Anyway, the kids love it, it’s in a gorgous setting for pictures and it makes for a memoriable weekend!   Enjoy!

New Everything!!!

My new site  Lori Hedrick Photography is live!  I am in love with it!  It showcases my new logo which I think is awsome!  It was a lot of work but well worth it.  Make sure you check it out!  Also, this blog is brand new!!!  I am so looking forward to being able to share what’s going on with my photography!  Hopefully I will be able to post images and slideshows and keep you up to date on new things I am learning as well as any specials I may run!  Bookmark this site and check back often!
